The CPPC is proud to present You are your own Agency, a personal brand workshop bursting with social media speakers that are connected, literally, to our industry. Who better to learn from than people just like us? So much is happening in social media; we are asked every day to join a network or look into new channels for our clients, but what about us? The rise of microfame or the ability to use social media platforms to become famous within your area of expertise is on the rise so let’s get started on your Personal Brand! It doesn’t matter if your seeking employment, a full-time employee, freelancer, consultant, small business entrepreneur or big business tycoon, we’ve put together a workshop that has something for everyone from the novice to the adept Personal Brand Manager.

This event will start off with our featured speaker, social media aficionado and former Creative Director, Glenn Raines. Glenn outlines the steps to identify and create a unique personal brand essence and weave it through one’s personal “social graph” across the web -- web site, blogs, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc. He further dives into the processes of building a rewarding social media network, managing social media into our daily lives, and monitoring one’s brand reputation across the social media landscape.

This will be followed by three intimate round table discussions, which allow you to ask questions and get answers to help build your personal brand.

Araceli Arroyo, one of the top 10 bloggers in Chicago and online savant, will lead a discussion on blogging, widgets and data tracking.

Anne Howard, an executive recruiter with experience in communication and marketing with Lynn Hazan & Associates, will lead a discussion on how to maximize your profile online and off.

And Glenn Raines will be available to answer any questions.
